Which inputs change AI optimization cost?
Priority page count is a starting point. Record the condition of those pages, the quality of supporting evidence and the approvals required. An unsupported claim can take longer to resolve than to rewrite because the business must first establish what it can substantiate.
Monitoring has several dimensions: exact questions, platforms, languages, repetition, dates, capture method and human review. Thirty questions run once on one platform produce a different workload from thirty questions repeated across several platforms. Software access and usage charges may be separate.
Calculator defaults are planning assumptions. An allowance expressed as hours per tracked question should state whether it includes collection, failed-run handling, evidence capture and review. Replace assumed labor with measured work when a pilot provides enough records.
How do you build a transparent monitoring estimate?
Here is a fictional monthly design: 12 questions, 2 platforms and 2 repeated runs per platform. That creates 48 scheduled observations. At an illustrative 5 minutes to collect and check each record, collection requires 240 minutes, or 4 hours. Add 2 hours for interpretation and reporting, for 6 hours total.
At an illustrative $100 hourly rate, monitoring models $600 for the month. This is not an AI Growth Systems rate or quote. It excludes platform charges, page changes, technical repairs and client review. If collection takes 10 minutes instead, the design requires 10 total hours and models $1,000.
Keep both scenarios. The actual work can later replace the assumed minutes and show whether a smaller panel answers the commercial decision.
| Input | Base assumption | Alternative |
|---|---|---|
| Questions x platforms x repeats | 12 x 2 x 2 = 48 | Same 48 observations |
| Collection and checking | 5 minutes each = 4 hours | 10 minutes each = 8 hours |
| Interpretation and report | 2 hours | 2 hours |
| Illustrative rate | $100 per hour | $100 per hour |
| Modeled labor | $600 per month | $1,000 per month |
What should setup and monthly work contain?
Setup should establish the page inventory, question selection, baseline conditions and responsibility for corrections. A sample record can show the exact question, date, platform, response, cited address and whether the business was named. Mark unavailable or failed checks separately from valid answers without citations.
Monthly work should explain what changed, what was observed and what remains unresolved. A citation log differs from a repair log. Link a claimed improvement to the page change and observation conditions while keeping other possible explanations visible.
Consider two fictional sites. One has usable pages and approved facts, so a small observation study may fit. The other has contradictory prices and missing service details; business review and content repair come first. Identical packages would hide that difference.
How should an AI report count results?
Define the denominator before showing a percentage. In a fictional cycle with 48 scheduled observations and 3 failed checks, there are 45 valid observations. If 9 contain at least one citation to the business's website, observed citation frequency is 9 divided by 45, or 20%. Count each observation once for that rate.
Report brand mentions separately. An answer can name a business without citing its site, or cite a page without creating a measurable visit. Keep citations per answer as a separate count so multiple links do not inflate frequency above 100%.
Compare like conditions. A platform, model, language or question change may affect the result. These observations describe the sample; they do not measure all users, all questions or future recommendations.
What prices and exclusions should you confirm?
Use the current pricing page for AI Growth Systems service amounts and commercial terms. A quoted monthly scope should state the question panel, platforms, languages, implementation responsibilities and term. A recurring fee should not be interpreted as unlimited observation or content production.
Separate diagnosis, implementation, writing, observation labor, software and reporting. Confirm ownership of records and the export format. Ask what happens when a platform cannot be checked or a data source changes. Review the full commitment if monthly work runs over 16 months.
An entry growth audit is a different offer. Confirm its exact checks and output before assuming it includes ongoing monitoring. No fee in a proposal can purchase a guaranteed independent AI mention or citation.
How do you choose a useful first scope?
Start with questions that affect an actual purchase: fit, price, delivery, qualifications and alternatives. Record what an accurate answer needs to say and which source supports it. A smaller panel with usable evidence can be easier to act on than hundreds of unrelated questions.
Use the AI cost calculator to compare page work and monitoring assumptions. Carry the selected scope into a discussion, then ask the proposal to explain which assumptions changed after inspection. Keep personal information out of public observation logs.
If your team cannot verify service facts, establish those facts first. A useful brief identifies that dependency so the next paid step produces something the business can review.
Open a separate page-work example with 8 priority pages, targeted technical repairs, improvements to existing content and 12 tracked questions. Its illustrative assumptions are $100 per hour, a $50 monthly software allowance and 15% contingency. Edit or reset these inputs in the calculator. The monitoring-only table above uses its own observation design and remains a separate calculation.
How we price AI optimization work
AI optimization at AI Growth Systems starts with a fixed-fee audit, led by Javier Socarras in Deerfield Beach. We test the questions your buyers ask in the AI tools you name, show you each dated answer and fix the pages behind it. Ongoing monitoring is optional and priced on its own, so you only pay for the checks you actually want.
